According to Foresight News, Daniel Schoenberger, former Chief Legal Officer of the Web3 Foundation, has been appointed as the General Legal Counsel for the Mina Foundation, effective immediately.

Schoenberger brings over 20 years of legal and policy experience spanning Web2 companies, Web3, and the education sector. During his tenure as Chief Legal Officer at the Web3 Foundation, he was responsible for overseeing the legal and regulatory requirements of the entire Polkadot development team. Schoenberger led numerous public policy initiatives on behalf of Polkadot, including testifying on the benefits of blockchain and decentralized technology before the U.S. House of Representatives, and assisting in the formulation of the Financial Innovation and Technology Act (FIT 21) for the 21st century.
