According to BlockBeats, Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko has countered claims that an Ethereum ETF could lead to 'serious' security risks. Yakovenko took to Twitter to express his views, stating that despite his fondness for economic security jokes, Ethereum possesses the best practical security among its peers.

Yakovenko highlighted that Ethereum has a large number of nodes, numerous independent links, and is spread across a vast geographical range. This means that the majority cannot split the rest of the network, nor can they create undetectable double-spending.

Previously, Decrypt reported that experts had warned of 'serious' security risks if the US spot Ethereum ETF was approved and introduced staking services, due to potential centralization issues. However, Yakovenko's comments suggest a different perspective on the matter, emphasizing Ethereum's inherent security features.
