According to PANews, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has issued a warning to the public about a company called Quantum AI, which is suspected of engaging in fraudulent activities related to virtual assets. The SFC has pointed out that Quantum AI has been using deep fake videos and images created by artificial intelligence on its website and social media platforms, impersonating Elon Musk and claiming his support for their cryptocurrency trading services, misleading the public. In addition, the company is also suspected of spreading false and misleading information through a so-called 'news' website, claiming that the Hong Kong public is using its technology for cryptocurrency trading and obtaining high returns.

The SFC has requested the Hong Kong police to block Quantum AI's website and remove its social media pages. Despite the measures taken by the police, the SFC reminds the public to remain vigilant and guard against possible similar fraudulent activities. Meanwhile, this entity has been added to the SFC's warning list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms. The SFC emphasizes that investors should be alert when facing 'too good to be true' investment opportunities to avoid being deceived.
