According to BlockBeats, on April 1, the official launch of the 'Large-Scale Blockchain Infrastructure Platform for the Belt and Road Initiative' project took place at the Shanghai Tree-Graph Blockchain Research Institute on March 30. The project is led by the Shanghai Tree-Graph Blockchain Research Institute and involves multiple institutions, including the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, and Shanghai Maritime University.

Experts and leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Industrial Development Promotion Center, the Shanghai Science and Technology Committee, the project's consulting expert group, and participating institutions attended the meeting. The project aims to address the characteristics and needs of cross-border cooperation scenarios in the Belt and Road Initiative by developing an advanced blockchain infrastructure platform that supports multi-country deployment and multi-entity collaborative supervision.

The Conflux Network also announced that the main goal of the project is to create a public blockchain infrastructure platform. This platform will support the implementation of cross-border cooperation projects along the Belt and Road Initiative and provide a foundation for developing applications that demonstrate cross-border collaboration.
