According to PANews, Malaysian police recently uncovered a kidnapping case involving Chinese citizens. In an operation in the Skudai area of Johor, police shot dead four suspects and arrested ten individuals. Authorities are still pursuing three men and one woman in connection with the case. The victim, a Chinese man, was kidnapped after arriving in Malaysia in July this year. His family paid a ransom of $1.2 million (approximately 8.62 million RMB) in cryptocurrency, leading to the eventual release of two victims. Police have recovered approximately $373,000 (about 2.68 million RMB) in cash, as well as vehicles, watches, and jewelry valued at around $700,000 (about 5.02 million RMB). The mastermind behind the case was identified as the victim's private driver.
