X Platform Introduces User Control Over AI Training Data

According to PANews, X platform (formerly known as Twitter) now allows users to control whether their public posts are used to train the Grok AI search assistant. By default, this option is enabled. Users can manage whether their interactions, inputs, and results related to Grok are utilized in AI training. This new privacy feature is currently available on the web version of the platform and will soon be available on mobile devices.

To adjust this setting, users can navigate to 'Privacy and Safety' under the privacy settings, then select 'Data Sharing and Personalization,' followed by 'Grok - Data Sharing.' Here, users can choose to allow or disallow their posts and interactions, inputs, and results with Grok to be used for training and fine-tuning the AI.

This feature provides an additional layer of privacy control, giving users more autonomy over their data. With just a few clicks, users can easily manage their preferences and ensure their data is used in a way that aligns with their comfort level.

Stay tuned for more updates as X platform continues to enhance user privacy and data control.
