🎉Party time, folks! Bitcoin & Ethereum transaction fees are at an 8-month low! Bitcoin's at $1.93, Ethereum's at $0.70. 🥳 Thanks to decreased network congestion & changes in mining post-halving, says Spark CEO, Vitali Dervoed.

But wait, there's more! The decline in transaction spikes from Ordinals & Runes inscriptions also played a part, according to Justin d’Anethan from Keyrock.

On the Ethereum side, the Dencun update & shift to layer-2 solutions like Arbitrum, Optimism, & Base have eased pressure on the main chain, leading to lower fees.

However, not all is rosy. 🌹 The drop in fees could pose challenges for Bitcoin miners, warns Carlos Mercado from Flipside Crypto. Long-term, miners need to recoup their costs to keep Bitcoin secure.

What do you think? Is this a win for users or a potential risk for the networks? Let's chat in the comments! 🗨️👇 #DeFi #Web3 #Blockchain
