VeBetterDAO has officially launched on the mainnet, bringing a number of new features aimed at improving governance. The mainnet launch also marks the start of the B3TR token’s full-scale emission and a 12-year tokenomic structure.

Decentralized applications (dApps) will begin receiving weekly allocations from a pool of 2 million B3TR as part of the launch. It is anticipated that this will raise the incentives that are available to actively participating community members. The allocation system seeks to provide participants with a more rewarding and dynamic ecosystem.
The mainnet launch includes a new feature that lets users participate in Treasury proposals via the VeBetterDAO governance dApp. Proposals can serve a variety of purposes, helping to shape the VeBetterDAO ecosystem’s future growth and direction.
Users must support a proposal with the support of at least 2% of the B3TR tokens in circulation in order to put it to a vote. The purpose of this system is to guarantee that proposals accurately represent the community’s interests as a whole.
The initial success of VeBetterDAO demonstrates the importance of increasing community engagement and governance opportunities. With 18,000 B3TR holders and more than 4,000 active users in just three months, VeBetterDAO has generated over 232,000 transactions.
