❗️ Kraken continues the fight against the SEC
🏢 On Thursday, the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken filed a response to the Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) April letter regarding the company's request to dismiss the case.
🔍 The exchange claims that the Commission failed to identify "any investment contracts that were (or could have been) subject to trading, brokerage, or settlement on Kraken."
💬 It is noted that the SEC did not use the terms "investment contract" and "enterprise" in its argument, instead using the terms "investment concept" and "ecosystem."
ℹ️ As a reminder, in November last year, the SEC filed a lawsuit against Kraken. The list of coins and tokens that were mentioned in the lawsuit as unregistered securities includes: $ADA, $AXS, $ALGO, $ATOM, $CHZ, $COTI, $DASH, $FIL, $FLOW, $ICP, $MANA, $MATIC, $NEAR, $OMG, $SAND, $SOL.
