$XRP Jack McDonald, senior vice president of Ripple, said in an interview with CoinDesk that RLUSD will initially be available in the regions of America, Asia-Pacific, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East through its distribution and exchange partners.

Initially, the token will not be available in the EU, as Ripple does not have the necessary license according to the MiCAR block rules, but the company is "actively exploring" ways to enter the block market, McDonald noted.

Warning about volatility

RLUSD, aiming to maintain a price of $1, may experience unusual volatility due to early demand from traders and limited supply.

"In the early days before market stabilization, there may be a supply shortage," warned David Schwartz, Chief Technology Officer of Ripple.
