$XRP BREAKS RESISTANCE $0.63 🚀🚀 After a long consolidation, XRP finally breaks the barrier that halted it's magnificent run in the past week (1H chart). 📊 A volume breakout with a huge candle is seen on the 4H chart, similarly the buyer's dominance is even better when considering the 1H chart. The support levels were mentioned in the previous analysis (see thread) and for a while the price action did break the crucial $0.6 support level downwards, but $0.59 was strong enough to hold it. DISTRESS CALL: HACKED WAZIRX DIALS BINANCE FOR LIFELINE 🤣 So, this was coming. I had a gut feeling and without the help of Binance they'll be unable to refund customers. So here it goes: 📰 WazirX has approached former partner Binance for help in bailing out customers affected by the $230-million cyberattack. Industry sources told Moneycontrol that Binance controls a surplus of WazirX's revenue and its WRX token. As of the date of the hack, that is July 18, Binance had around $80 million worth of WRX tokens. This, inadvertently, affected WazirX's capability to use its own funds to pay back some part of the customer assets that were stolen, according to a source mentioned above. “Their legal dispute is still ongoing. There are components of WazirX's business which are still under Binance's control, including the revenue -- the surplus of it. Even its WRX token is under their control. So they have reached out to Binance and the talks are on but at early stages,” the source said. “Furthermore, the wallets holding locked and released WRX tokens are also managed and controlled by Binance, including the release of such tokens based on the WRX Release Schedule,” it added. WazirX declined to comment on this development, and Binance is yet to get back on the emailed queries sent by Moneycontrol. Any responses from these exchanges will be updated to reflect in the article. ⚖️ LEGAL DISPUTE The spat between world's largest crypto exchange Binance and the India's largest exchange WazirX started back in August 2022, when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had frozen bank assets of WazirX worth Rs 64.67 crore in relation to allegedly assisting a bunch of accused loan apps in money laundering and fraud through the transfer of virtual crypto assets. Following this, Binance's CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) took to X (then Twitter) to clarify that his firm didn't own any equity in WazirX and nor did it control its operations. A good for nothing poll has been started which offers the most bogus plan ever for the withdrawal of customer funds. In short they've given two options for users and one of them concludes with a 55/45 plan. Users can view this poll and entire details on their trading app as well as on the website and opt for the withdrawal process as per their convenience. Now, this poll says something like this "We are implementing a socialized loss strategy to distribute the impact equitably among all users." Also this poll will last for 7 days. One entire week for what? They are responsible for the hack, still there is no certainty about the recovery of assets, people have lost their hard earned money and many are thinking of ending their lives. And they want us, the people to share this loss equally so that they can take the escape route in a much easier way 😡 Had it been the US, all the officials would have been under investigation by now. So it is my humble request to BOYCOTT WazirX once you get all your funds back and transfer them to Binance or any other trustworthy centralised exchange or just store them in a hardware wallet. Don't even think of using WazirX ever, not even in your wildest dreams. Also prior to this act, it's my humble appeal to all my fellow Indian investors to lodge a FIR against Nishchay Shetty and take legal action against other WazirX officials.
