In 2010, a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz famously purchased two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins from another user on the Bitcointalk forum. To this day, the Bitcoin community still celebrates the cryptocurrency’s first real-life purchase.

On Bitcoin Pizza Day, what better way to celebrate than in the home of pizza, Italy? Join us in our pizza-making contest to find out who has the best skills when it comes to baking pizza pies. Attendees will be treated to their own Binance pizza (first come, first served!) and other goodies throughout the evening.

In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, a local pizza restaurant will host a community meetup on Sunday, May 21.
