Binance has played a significant role in reducing the overall supply of Terra Luna Classic tokens. Early this month, Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange by market volume burnt its 23rd batch (from May 31 to June 29), a burning mechanism that kicked off in early 2022. It is worth noting that Binance alone has burnt more than 62 Billion LUNC tokens contributing to more than 50% of total tokens burnt which amounts to 125 Billion tokens.
As earlier reported on CNF, the crypto market faced humongous pressure recently due to the Bitcoin price correction. Currently exchanging hands at $57,387.77, marking an 8.67% decline in the past week, Bitcoin has undergone a great ordeal after the Mt.Gox repayment news hit headlines and the massive liquidation of the German government. LUNC, USTC, Road to Revival.
No matter how many troll-bots try to fud $LUNC and $USTC , I'll keep holding my batch and no matter how many people short them, I'll keep buying more at a discount.
My reasoning is simple:
After terra crash, I was left with 6 digit loss. As many of you know, some people even resorted to extreme measures, such as ending their lives. I was going through a hard time as well and despite the harsh reality, I still had a spark of hope. Even tho I couldn't see the path, that spark still kept me going and I managed to start over, stand and hold my head up again.
•After awhile, previous Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), gave me and everyone else hope and fuel to go on by announcing Binance monthly LUNC buyback and burns. This meant that Binance would no longer keep trading fees from LUNC contracts and would buy LUNC and send it to burn wallet at the start of every month with the accumulated fees from past month. Binance has kept its word and is still burning LUNC monthly, since 2022, till today and until further notice. I'm extremely grateful for CZ and Binance for that.
•The shorting of LUNC means that volume goes up, while coin price drops, therefore, Binance gets more fees, buys even more lower price LUNC coins back and burns them, hence I don't fear shorts.
•USTC current supply is 8.96 billion tokens, its highest market cap recorded was 18.64$ billion. That's enough to make even today's supply of USTC 2$ per token, meaning it's perfectly possible and within reach for USTC to re-peg to 1$ again.
•USTC re-peg would allow it to be included in contracts again, raising demand on the token. After re-peg, the algorithm can be reworked to operate partially too, meaning, instead of initial algorithm, (currently not functional) which minted each UST by burning 1$ worth of LUNA and minted LUNA by burning relative amounts of UST, it could be reworked in a way that operates partially. So, reworked algorithm would allow USTC to be minted by burning 1$ worth of LUNC and burning USTC would allow to reedem it into fiat instead of minting LUNC. That would also drastically decrease LUNC reserves.

Both #LUNC and #USTC revival is within reach, it's not just some fantasy. After all, if you don't trust my reasoning, you can trust #BinanceLUNCBurn . Binance has been burning millions of $ worth LUNC each month since 2022. More than half of burnt LUNC tokens, to this date, have been burnt by Binance. If Binance keeps believing in us, we shall believe in ourselves too.
