A plan that would allow income taxes to be paid in Bitcoin will be discussed in the US. The US Congress is considering a bill that would enable Bitcoin to be used as payment for federal income taxes.
Matt Gaetz, a Republican, wrote it. Should the bill be approved, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen would have to ratify related changes to federal laws.
Additionally, the project essentially makes it possible to pay other fees and taxes with cryptocurrency.
