📉 Binance.US has lost its money transmitter license in North Dakota, marking the 7th state to do so. The North Dakota Department of Financial Institutions cited Binance's failure to comply with money transmitter laws and the recent federal conviction of founder Changpeng Zhao as reasons for the revocation. Binance.US has 30 days to request a reversal of the order. Other states taking similar actions include Alaska, Florida, Maine, North Carolina, and Oregon. Meanwhile, new user onboarding has been temporarily paused in Connecticut, Georgia, Ohio, Minnesota, and Washington state.
