What is it needed for? And why is it inportant?

📢Luna Classic is still an active generation 3 blockchain using something called a proof of stake consensus method, which means it's relatively fast, relatively cheap, and relatively environmentally friendly. 

🔴🤚It is not a sh**coin blockchain, and because it's a generation 3 blockchain, it is scalable in terms of vertical integration of something called smart contracts built on top of a layer one solution.

🔴 What exactly is a smart contract? 

A smart contract, as you would know, something like an NFT, a digital ID, a Dow, which stands for a decentralized Autonomous organizations. It can be a token play, it can be a Web 3 application, and it can be gaming, among a lot of other Defy applications. 

🔥The whole point of blockchains is to do something called Defy, which stands for decentralized finance. Defy is trying to do something that we do in C5. What is C5? When you borrow, when you land, and when you transact financially, but there's always a central authority. What's the central authority in C5? The banks are central authorities. The whole point of cryptocurrency, even the first cryptocurrency Bitcoin, was to get rid of the central authority. So by using defy, the blockchain is a trusted trustless intermediary between sending cryptocurrency or data or finance between point A and point B. And because Luna Classic is still an active utilitarian type blockchain.

 📈There is reason for people to come back and develop on the Lunar Classic blockchain. Right now, Luna is just trying to survive, but in the future, Terra Luna Classic blockchain can thrive and flourish like it once did.
