🚨 This is out of control 🚨:

In the first eight months of Fiscal Year 2024, the US deficit reached $1.2 trillion, averaging $4.9 billion per day.

In May alone, the deficit was $348 billion, or $11.2 billion per day, according to the CBO.

Over the past 12 months, the US deficit was $1.7 trillion, which is 6.2% of GDP.

This percentage is higher than during any previous recession except for the 2008 Financial Crisis, the 2020 pandemic, and World War II.

Meanwhile, government spending hit $6.5 trillion, making up 23% of GDP.

The government is spending as if we are in a recession.$BTC #BinanceTournament
