Binance is excited to announce that we will be supporting the contract swap for WazirX (WRX) tokens. This process will involve WRX tokens on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), Ethereum (ERC20), and BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) networks.
Key points to note:
- Starting from 2024-06-04 16:00 (UTC), all deposits and withdrawals of old WRX tokens will be temporarily suspended.
- It's important to allow sufficient time for your old WRX token transactions to be processed before this deadline.
- Spot trading, Margin trading, Futures trading, and Binance Earn services will not be affected during the contract swap.
- Binance will manage all technical aspects of the swap for involved users.
- Each old WRX token (WRXOLD) will be exchanged for one new WRX token at a 1:1 ratio.
- After the swap:
- Deposits and withdrawals of WRXOLD on BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) will cease.
- Binance will continue to support deposits of WRXOLD on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) and Ethereum (ERC20).
- Deposits and withdrawals of new WRX tokens on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will be supported.
- Binance will issue a separate announcement once the swap is complete to notify users about the opening of deposits and withdrawals for new WRX tokens.
