The suspect was arrested based on an indictment dated May 29, which accuses him of 'creating and disseminating malicious software to infiltrate and aggregate millions of home Windows computer networks worldwide'.
An independent analysis by blockchain analytics firm Chainlysis revealed that wallet addresses associated with the suspect held digital assets exceeding $130 million, allegedly earned through illegal commissions. The suspect is now facing charges for his alleged involvement in this large-scale cyber fraud operation.
