‼️US Congress Members Sent a Letter to SEC Chairman Gensler to Support Bitcoin (BTC)!‼️

Two US congressmen, Mike Flood and Wiley Nickel, sent a new letter to US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler, requesting approval of options on spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs.

In their letter, Mike Flood and Wiley Nickel wrote that the launch of such options is of critical importance for investors and that the SEC's duty is to protect the interests of investors.

Here are the important details in the letter that 2 US Congress members sent to Gensler to support Bitcoin:

“We ask that you expeditiously approve options on spot Bitcoin investment products or provide an explanation regarding the difference in the Commission's approach to options on currently traded Bitcoin futures ETFs and spot BTC ETFs.”

Several American exchanges, including Cboe, BOX, MIAX, Nasdaq ISE and NYSE American, have filed with the SEC to launch options on spot Bitcoin ETFs.

However, so far the SEC has not taken any action regarding these practices. The SEC claims that months later, it is still collecting public comments regarding the launch of such products
