According to Foresight News, Fermah, a developer of general proof generation layers, has successfully raised $5.2 million in a seed funding round. The round was co-led by a16z Crypto Startup Accelerator (CSX) fund and Lemniscap, with participation from Bankless Ventures, Longhash Ventures, P-OPS team, Public Works, ZK Validator, Lambda Class, Daedalus, Zero DAO, Velocity Capital, Daemon Ventures, and notable investors such as Balaji Srinivasan and Sandeep Nailwal. The funds will be allocated towards strengthening marketing, engineering, and other departmental teams, as well as expanding product offerings. Fermah aims to address issues related to zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs by acting as a ZK proof generation marketplace. The company leverages affordable and reliable infrastructure to create proofs for ZK Rollups, ZK cross-chain, and other use cases.
