According to BlockBeats, a lawsuit has been filed against Roaring Kitty by GMP call option holder Martin Radev. The lawsuit, filed on June 28th in the Eastern District of New York through Radev's representative law firm Pomerantz, accuses Roaring Kitty of orchestrating a 'pump and dump' scheme through a series of social media posts starting from May 13th.
Eric Rosen, a former federal prosecutor and founding partner of Dynamis LLP law firm, commented on the lawsuit, stating that it was 'doomed to fail' from the start. He argued that the claim that 'Roaring Kitty should have disclosed his intention to sell his options' would not hold up in court. He further stated that no 'rational person, let alone a rational investor', would expect Roaring Kitty to hold all options until their expiration date.
