According to Foresight News, financial startup Agora has announced plans to issue its stablecoin AUSD on Sui. This makes AUSD the second stablecoin to be launched on Sui, following FDUSD.
AUSD is Agora's first product and is expected to be issued in June this year, maintaining parity with the US dollar. Prior to this, Agora had announced that it would issue AUSD on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Sui is the first non-Ethereum virtual machine blockchain to support AUSD.
