According to Foresight News, an anonymous developer of the Solana blockchain mining project Ore, known as Hardhat Chad, has proposed to the Solana Foundation to incentivize user participation in testnet activities. These activities could include testing new features or protocols, and the incentives could be provided in the form of SOL tokens.
Hardhat Chad clarified that he is not seeking funds from the foundation. His goal for Ore is to establish a currency, not to develop testnet tools. He is currently reassessing the measures to combat spam, questioning whether there is a need to prioritize the construction of testnet spam bots.
