BTC ETFs May Attract $35B Inflows in 2025; Crypto ETFs the New Darling?



ETF Store CEO Nate Geraci reported that Crypto ETFs led fund inflows in 2024, with the top 8 new funds in this sector. These included 4 BTC ETFs, 2 Ethereum ETFs, and 2 MicroStrategy ETFs, all outperforming 740 other ETFs over 12 months.

BlackRock's BTC ETF IBIT topped the list with 37billionininflowsinlessthanayear,accumulating53 billion in AUM in 11 months. Fidelity's BTC ETF FBTC ranked second with 12.2billion,whileBlackRock′sEthereumETFETHAwasthirdwith3.5 billion.

ARKB and BITB, two other BTC ETFs, recorded 2.6billionand2.2 billion in inflows respectively. YieldMax's MicroStrategy ETF MSTY ranked eighth with 1.8billion,followedbyFidelity′sEthereumETFFETHwithslightlyabove1.5 billion. Defiance's MSTX, another MicroStrategy ETF, ranked in the top eight with $1.4 billion.

Analysts are optimistic about U.S. Crypto ETFs, with Bitwise estimating BTC ETFs will attract 35billionnextyear,totalingover70 billion in two years. Bloomberg ETF analysts expect new Crypto asset-related ETFs next year, and Geraci predicts a more favorable regulatory environment for Solana (SOL) ETFs in 2025.

From November 6 to December 27, U.S. spot BTC ETFs recorded 12.1billionininflows,accountingfor343.2 billion in inflows, reversing over 500millioninnegativenetflowstototalnearly2.7 billion.
