Nicolas Kokkalis announced that Pi Coin will transition to the main network in the first quarter of 2025. This development means that the project will leave the test network and transition to an open network. With the transition to the main network, Pi Coin will be eligible for listing and trading on exchanges.
Focus on KYC and Migration
Kokkalis made the following statements about the transition to the main network:
"We have reached 18 million authenticated (KYC) users. We have set the first quarter of 2025 as the transition date to the open network. In this process, we will focus on more users completing the 'migration' process. Our goal is to close the gap between KYC users and migration users."
