On December 23rd, CME Group and CF Benchmarks announced that investment advisors would overtake hedge funds as the largest holders of US Bitcoin spot ETFs in the following year. Currently, hedge fund managers dominate the market with a 45.3% share, while investment advisors hold 28%. However, CF Benchmarks predicts that by 2025, investment advisors’ share will increase to over 50%, making them the primary owners of these ETFs.
