What is Hive?
Hive (HIVE) is a decentralized content sharing platform that rewards users with HIVE coins for active participation. It operates on a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) protocol, where users elect Witnesses to validate transactions and produce new blocks. The platform is designed for social media dApps, emphasizing speed, security, and large storage space for media. HIVE has a unique Proof of Brain protocol, incentivizing quality content creation. Users can easily send HIVE amongst each other, and it also exists in a non-liquid form called Hive Power (HP), which can be delegated to Witnesses.
