The international policing organization, Interpol, has issued a “Red Notice” for Hex founder Richard Schueler, also known as Richard Heart. This action follows accusations of tax fraud and assault against him. Although a Red Notice does not constitute an international arrest warrant, it serves as a global request for law enforcement to locate and provisionally detain individuals who are being sought for legal reasons.
Schueler’s case involves allegations of physically assaulting a minor victim and failing to pay taxes. He is accused of evading taxes from June 2, 2020, to April 2, 2024. These claims were detailed in a report by European law enforcement agencies, which listed him among Europe’s most wanted fugitives.
Interestingly, this news arrives only three months after a remand order was first issued against Schueler on September 13th. Despite this recent development, he continues to deny any wrongdoing while remaining active on social media platforms.
In addition to these legal troubles, Schueler remains embroiled in a high-profile legal battle with U.S. regulators over his involvement in offering unregistered cryptocurrency tokens called Hex, PulseChain (PLS), and PulseX (PSLX). This dispute highlights the need for increased oversight within the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency industry.
