Tether, the issuer of the world’s largest stablecoin by market capitalization, has invested $775 million in Rumble, an alternative platform to YouTube that does not censor content. In a statement, Tether CEO Paolo Ardonio emphasized the importance of freedom of speech and financial freedom. He expressed confidence in Rumble’s potential and looked forward to collaborating on a shared vision that includes advertising, cloud, and crypto payments solutions.

Meanwhile, Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership and plans to challenge YouTube’s dominance in the video-sharing market. Following the announcement, Rumble’s stock price surged by 51.60% during after-hours trading.
