We are thrilled to announce three new partners — Axelar, Halborn, and Buidlbox — marking a significant step forward in COTI’s mission to transform privacy and scalability in Web3.
COTI’s privacy-centric L2 is built on the first on-chain implementation of garbled circuits— a revolutionary, lightweight, and powerful technology developed in partnership with Soda Labs. Each of our new partners offers strategic benefits to the COTI ecosystem, presenting new opportunities for growth and generating momentum as we head into 2025.
Axelar: COTI’s Cross-Chain Provider
As we announced last month, COTI has put into motion a bold vision to help bring about a confidential, chain-agnostic version of Web3, centered around COTI’s Privacy-on-Demand provision that will be available across all major blockchains. The technology underpinning Privacy-on-Demand is enabled by Axelar, which supports over 70 EVM and non-EVM chains.
We are excited to integrate with Axelar and are onboarding via their new “Interchain Amplifier,” which facilitates permissionless new-chain connections at scale. Once the connection is live, COTI can pass native tokens between chains without wrapping. This occurs via Axelar’s Interchain Token Service (ITS) which vastly simplifies the process of moving and managing assets across different networks. ITS preserves fungibility and custom functionality of native tokens across multiple blockchains, avoiding the situations of incompatibility among wrapped tokens that can otherwise occur.
Halborn: Award-Winning Tier-1 Cybersecurity Partner
Halborn is a globally recognized cybersecurity leader that delivers world-class consulting and execution, far beyond smart contract auditing. Halborn will become COTI’s Security Advisor as a Service (SAaaS) partner, empowering ecosystem projects to safeguard their code, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps). From penetration testing to continuous advisory, Halborn ensures organizations’ most critical assets remain secure.
With a proven five-year track record and clients like Circle, Solana, Phantom, and Animoca Brands, this partnership underscores COTI’s commitment to a secure Layer 2 ecosystem, safeguarding the operation of its ground-breaking privacy technology as well as the smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) that run on it.
Buidlbox: Fostering Growth
Buidlbox is an end-to-end developer engagement platform designed to simplify and supercharge ecosystem growth. The service helps builders to learn, earn, and discover new ways to contribute to the blockchain space — including via cutting-edge hackathons, lucrative bounties, expert-led workshops, career-defining employment opportunities, and more.
As their latest partner, COTI will work with them to arrange a series of bounties over the coming months, with the aim of growing the community and incentivizing developers to build new tools for the ecosystem.
Created by and for Web3 builders, Buidlbox has successfully run over 160 hackathons, supported 250+ sponsors and facilitated the launch of more than 15,000 projects. Its reach and status in the crypto world will ensure that COTI gains important exposure in the weeks to come, and attracts the best talent within the global Web3 hacker community.
Positioning For The Future Of Web3
Together, these partnerships promise to help COTI expand to new frontiers, building greater trust and awareness within the blockchain world. COTI’s vision is for a seamless interchain future for Web3, with confidential computation powered by garbled circuits. We are confident that working with Axelar, Halborn, and Buidlbox will propel us towards that goal.
