Travala, a cryptocurrency-focused travel agency, has hit a milestone by surpassing $100 million in annual revenue, a significant jump from $59.6 million in 2023. This growth was largely fueled by flight and hotel bookings paid with over 40 cryptocurrencies. To bolster its financial stability, Travala plans to establish a Bitcoin and AVA token reserve. Founded in 2017, the platform has seen rapid growth, particularly during the 2021 crypto bull market. CEO Juan Otero highlighted that the new reserve aims to support future expansion and potentially allow direct use of crypto reserves without conversion.
