The European space agency ESA is preparing to launch two satellites on Wednesday that will create an "artificial solar eclipse".

The research, which will be carried out within the scope of ESA's Probe 3 project, will last a total of 2 years.

Satellite instruments will artificially create a thousand separate solar eclipses.

Satellites will be launched from India's Satish Dhawan Space Centre on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
