MacOS and iPhone Users Warned by CZ Crypto Community About Exploit
An important security hole that affects Apple's macOS and iPhone users has been brought to light by Binance co-founder and ex-CEO Changpeng "CZ" Zhao.
Users who are security-conscious, especially those in the Bitcoin industry, are at grave risk since attackers have aggressively used the zero-day vulnerability to hack machines, notably Intel-based Macs.
In order to avoid such breaches, CZ emphasized the need for quick upgrades in its November 19 warning.
The Google Threat Analysis Group (TAG), which is renowned for tracking cyber threats supported by states, reportedly found vulnerabilities with the tracking numbers CVE-2024-44308 and CVE-2024-44309. This information was reported by SecurityWeek.
Because of these vulnerabilities, bad actors may use hacked online content to run unauthorized code and conduct cross-site scripting attacks. Quick fixes are still in the works, although Apple has already released several.
