Binance has made its first investment in the decentralized science sector ( #DeSci  )

The company invested in BIO Protocol, a project that uses blockchain to transform the funding and commercialization of early-stage scientific research.

#BIOProtocol is creating a Y Combinator-like platform for on-chain science that brings together scientists, patients and investors to fund new drugs through a biotech DAO.

The current network of the project includes several BioDAOs, in particular for research on longevity, women's health and other important medical areas.
