💥🔮 Inside DIA Lumina: Feeders

Feeders make up a decentralized network of independent data operators that power the data collection and processing within the DIA Lumina oracle stack. These operators are responsible for fetching data directly from sources and submitting it on-chain to the Lasernet rollup.

One of the unique features of Feeders is permissionless participation—anyone can set up a Feeder node. This open approach enhances the network’s security and resilience by decentralizing data sourcing.

How Feeders Operate:

• Scraper: Feeders pull raw data from diverse sources, including centralized and decentralized exchanges, and APIs.

• Collector: They aggregate the data, providing a more resilient and comprehensive dataset.

• Processor: Feeders filter and validate data for accuracy before sending it on-chain.

• Pods: Once processed, data is stored in “Pods,” smart contracts on Lasernet that make data traceable and auditable.

With future improvements, DIA Feeders will support more complex data sets and enhanced staking mechanisms, ensuring ongoing reliability and community alignment as Lumina scales.

Feeders bring decentralized, permissionless data sourcing to Lumina, forming the foundation for a truly transparent, secure, and adaptable oracle ecosystem.
