In September, we continued our mission to spread the freedom of money globally, and this time, it was with a special Angels Community Event that brought together our incredible Binance Angels from the LATAM region. Held in the vibrant city of Cartagena, Colombia—known for its rich history and stunning architecture—this event was all about learning, teamwork, and making memories.
For those who might not know, Binance Angels are the heartbeat of our community. They’re the ones who manage local Telegram channels, engage with users, and support us during offline Binance Meetups. Their passion is what propels Binance forward. This Community Event was all about celebrating them as part of the Binance Meetup: Binance Tour Cartagena.

For a week in September 2024, we were thrilled to host over 18 Angels from countries across LATAM, including Mexico, El Salvador, Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador. It was a week filled with an exciting lineup: meetings with the Binance community, Angels stepping up on stage, and knowledge-sharing sessions to help everyone level up.
Of course, it wasn’t all about serious affairs. The Angels soaked up the sun on Cartagena's beautiful beaches. There, they exchanged ideas on how to build even stronger communities and create better experiences for our users.
One of the highlights? The Angels experienced Cartagena’s famous Chiva tour, a traditional bus ride filled with music, dancing, and lively entertainment. They got to see the sights, feel the rhythm of the city, and enjoy the local culture to the fullest.
And if that wasn’t enough, two unforgettable moments took the event to another level. One of our Angels proposed to his girlfriend on the beach—yes, you read that right, a beach proposal! We also celebrated the 57th birthday of one of our Binance Angels.
