Polkadot Music Events Initiative (PMEI) is a project focused on integrating Polkadot tech with various aspects of the music industry, such as:

🎟️ Ticketing

🚌 Touring Logistics

💽 Music Royalties

🧾 Payments

🌐 Social Networking

The initiative aims to create seamless fan experiences using Web3 and drive adoption of Polkadot. PMEI plans to do this by bringing real-world use cases for blockchain in entertainment that help enterprises and users engage with Web3 in meaningful ways. PMEI key milestones:

• Ticketing and Wallet Functionality: developing a proof of concept for a ticketing and wallet integration that allows users to easily onboard onto Polkadot

• USDC Native Payments: building proof of concept for USDC payments on AssetHub, enabling users to pay with credit cards and convert funds to USDC on the Polkadot

• Crypto-Native Payments: integrating a user interface for crypto payments, allowing users to connect their wallets at venues and pay for services using DOT or other approved assets
