While the common assumption is that XRP has a circulating supply of 56 billion coins, he argues that this conclusion is false. Crypto Tank asserted that the market does not actively use much of XRP's supply, only around 20% or 10 billion units in daily transactions, because private wallets owned by whales and exchanges control a larger part.
He centered his thesis on XRP's prospect of becoming the primary means of settlements by banks and financial institutions. Twenty-four hours after Crypto Tank's commentary, XRP gained 1.09% to trade at $0.538.
