**Crypto Scam Alert: Fake Unichain Website Exposed**

Scammers have exploited the buzz around Uniswap’s new Ethereum layer 2, Unichain, by promoting a fake website via Google ads. The fraudulent site, unlchalindefi[.]com, mimicked the official Unichain site but aimed to steal users' cryptocurrency.

Uniswap Labs recently launched a testnet for Unichain, promising faster transactions and seamless multichain swapping. However, the official site, Unichain.org, was overshadowed in search results, allowing scammers to capitalize.

MetaMask and Scam Sniffer flagged the scam, and Google has since removed the deceptive ads. Users are advised to avoid clicking on Google ads for protocols and to scrutinize transactions carefully.
