Fhenix, a Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) Layer 2 has announced the integration of Celestia as its data availability solution. Through the provision of reliable and decentralized data streams, Fhenix will facilitate the development of robust onchain apps with integrated privacy features for developers.
Transaction data is accessible for download by anyone via Celestia’s modular data availability network. Projects built on Fhenix will find it simpler to develop scalable apps that carry out smart contract logic based on a variety of on- and off-chain data sources thanks to its high-throughput data that can be verified with a light node.
Fhenix CEO and Co-Founder Guy Itzhaki said:
“Fhenix’s goal is to bring FHE to the masses and we are constantly working on innovative ways to do so. A key component of our strategy is to integrate a DA (data availability) solution that will enable us to reduce the cost of FHE computation. The addition of Celestia to the Fhenix stack means a flexible, scalable platform for confidentiality-enabled application developers.”
The EVM-compatible network architecture of Fhenix is enhanced by Celestia’s lightweight and modular design, which effectively facilitates confidential computing. This makes it possible to handle encrypted onchain data quickly and cheaply, which in turn enables the development of responsive dapps that provide complete end-to-end encryption.
The fhEVM allows developers to create decentralized Solidity apps that can be deployed on Fhenix. Owing to its ability to provide end-to-end encrypted smart contract support, Fhenix opens up a multitude of use cases, including DeFi, gaming, and confidential voting.
Celestia’s integration will hasten the development of innovative Fhenix apps. With the help of its DA layer, Fhenix’s scalable L2 platform offers better tools, allowing projects to concentrate on their core competencies and develop blockchain solutions that improve confidentiality in the EVM space.
