What is a DIN Chipper Node?

In the DIN ecosystem, three participants are continuously involved in the data flow of AI: Data Collectors, Data Validators, and Vectorizers. Data Collectors gather and label raw data, which is then processed by Data Validators & Vectorizers using local AI models for validation, classification, cleaning, and augmentation.

Processed data is supplied to AI companies for model training and marketplace trading. This collaboration ensures a steady flow of high-quality data, with profits shared among network participants to support the ecosystem’s growth.

The Chipper Node is an essential part of the DIN ecosystem, enabling data validation and vectorization, and providing the computational power for converting our main token, $DIN.

“Chipper” comes from “chip,” meaning to cut large materials into smaller pieces. In English, “chipper” often describes something or someone that is lively, positive, or pleasant. We chose “Chipper” for our nodes to reflect their role in finely processing raw data and to highlight their important and positive contributions to the DIN ecosystem.

In the current ecosystem, xData is the AI data node infrastructure on DIN, where users collect and label raw data for AI and earn $Wafer points. With chipper nodes, users can convert $Wafer points to $xDIN points, and $xDIN serves as a crucial basis for $DIN token airdrops.

There are 10 tiers of Chipper Nodes, with 131,600 nodes in total. The starting price for a Chipper Node is USD 60, with the price increasing at each tier. The tier 1 nodes are not for sale, but only saved for our active xData Chip NFT holders and community roles.

  • Pre-Sale Round: Tier 1 Chipper Node Claim

The Pre-Sale Round starts on August 13 at 8:00 UTC. To thank users for their long-term support, this round is open for eligible xData Chip NFT holders and some community contributors to claim Tier 1 nodes for free.

  • Whitelist Sale Round: Tier 2 Chipper Node Sale + Tier 2 Chipper Node Giveaway Campaign

The Whitelist Sale Round starts on August 20 8:00 UTC. This round is separated into two parts:

a. Users can purchase Tier 2 nodes through invite links generated by whitelisted DIN Chipper Node Sale Partners.

b. Users can participate in Chipper Node Giveaways hosted by us and other projects to win Tier 2 nodes or Tier 2 nodes whitelists for free.

  • Public Sale Round 1: Tier 3–5 Chipper Node Sale

The Public Sale Round 1 starts on August 22 at 8:00 UTC and is open to global users. Nodes in this round will be sold separately:

a. one part on third-party platforms;

b. and the other part on our own website.

Tier 3–5 Chipper Nodes will be available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. This approach ensures everyone has a chance to join the Data Intelligence Network.

  • Public Sale Round 2: Tier 6–10 Chipper Node

The Public Sale Round 2 starts on August 29 at 8:00 UTC. This round is open to global users. Nodes in this round will be sold on our own website.
