According to PANews, despite a 12% decline in Bitcoin prices during the second quarter, institutional investors have significantly increased their allocations to Bitcoin ETFs. A report from Bitwise indicates that the number of institutional investors holding Bitcoin ETFs grew by 14% in the second quarter, rising from 965 to 1,100. The proportion of managed Bitcoin ETF assets increased from 18.74% to 21.15%, with a total value reaching $11 billion. Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan noted that institutions continue to actively purchase Bitcoin amid market volatility, suggesting greater potential during bullish periods. The report also highlighted that the adoption rate of Bitcoin ETFs by institutions is the fastest in history.
