According to PANews, the government of El Salvador has initiated a Bitcoin certification program aimed at training and certifying 80,000 civil servants. The program, organized by the National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC), seeks to enhance the skills of public officials in Bitcoin strategic management and public policy. The training course spans 160 hours and is divided into seven modules, covering legal aspects, skills, and management knowledge related to Bitcoin as legal tender. Stacy Herbert, the director of ONBTC, stated that this initiative is expected to have a long-term positive impact on El Salvador's Bitcoin economy.
