**Cheyenne Mayoral Candidate Proposes AI Bot to Run City**

Victor Miller, a nonpartisan candidate for Mayor of Cheyenne, Wyoming, has an unconventional plan: if elected, he wants an AI bot named "VIC" (Virtual Integrated Citizen) to handle city governance. Miller would attend ceremonial events, while VIC makes key decisions, including signing bills.

OpenAI shut down Miller's account, citing policies against political campaigning. Despite state officials' concerns, Miller's name will appear on the ballot, not VIC's.

Cheyenne, known for its crypto-friendly stance, will vote in a nonpartisan primary on Aug. 20. The top two candidates will proceed to the November general election.
