💵 74% of Bitcoins Have Entered the "HODLing" Category

😉 Despite Bitcoin's 21% correction from its ATH, 74% of coins haven't been sold or moved in the last six months, according to Glassnode.

📈 According to the HODL Waves chart, on August 11, the share of Bitcoins held by long-term investors increased to 45%.

❗️ Analysts have previously noted that the growing dominance of "aged" coins indicates that investors are holding out for higher prices and are unwilling to close positions at current levels. This holding trend leads to a reduction in available supply, which, with increasing demand, could result in a rise in the asset's price.

👀 Experts also pointed out that 80% of the coins held by speculators are currently "in the red."

🗣

"This is similar to situations in 2018, 2019, and mid-2021. Back then, many short-term investors panicked and triggered a bear trend," they commented.
