🗣 NIGERIA AIMS TO SURPASS LEADING CRYPTO ECONOMIES.
Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima announced the government’s intention to educate citizens in blockchain technology to surpass leading crypto economies. Speaking at the launch of a government training program for AI, blockchain, and advanced technologies, Shettima emphasized Nigeria’s goal of digital transformation and leadership in Africa.
The initiative, in partnership with Gluwa, will train 1,000 specialists annually at the Yakubu Gowon NYSC camp in Dutse. Shettima highlighted the program’s importance for Nigeria’s economic future and mentioned the potential launch of a national blockchain network, Nigerium, proposed by NITDA.
