**Crypto-Friendly Candidates Shake Up Arizona Primaries**

In Arizona's 8th Congressional District, Republican Blake Masters lost the primary to Abraham Hamadeh, who secured 29.8% of the vote. Despite a $600,000 media push from the Defend American Jobs PAC, Masters conceded, urging his followers to support Hamadeh in November. Masters had previously pledged to be a strong crypto advocate in DC.

Meanwhile, in the 3rd District, Democrat Yassamin Ansari leads with 46% of the vote. Ansari has expressed support for pro-crypto legislation, contrasting with her opponent Raquel Terán, who is neutral on the issue. Ansari's campaign has faced criticism from California Rep. Linda Sánchez, who accused Protect Progress of trying to "buy a seat in Congress."

Fairshake and its affiliates have spent over $2 million supporting candidates in Arizona, including $1.3 million for Ansari and $400,000 for Democrat Andrei Cherny in the 1st District. The results for Cherny are still pending.

Current 3rd District Rep. Ruben Gallego is running for Senate, leaving the seat open for new contenders. Protect Progress has also invested heavily in Democratic candidates in Texas and Alabama, spending $3.7 million in support.

As the crypto debate heats up, these elections could significantly impact future blockchain and cryptocurrency policies.
