While the Shiba Inu price is up 110% over the last year, this is still a 50% drop from the height of 2024. The last month has seen the Shiba Inu price consolidate around its $10 billion market cap.
There is currently around $100 million worth of Shiba Inu waiting to hit the market after the hack of the Indian exchange, WazirX. The hackers have already turned some of the other stolen tokens into Ethereum with a tumbler, and it is only a matter of time before the Shiba Inu tokens are dumped as well. The Hedera price is down 10% on the week, which makes up the bulk of its 11% drop on the month. The Hedera price continues its years-long march back down to its ICO price of $0.05, with Hedera currently trading at $0.06871.
Hedera continues to onboard users and dApps, but also continues to shed value. Even the latest news of Hedera’s collaboration with Deloitte and the record-breaking addition of 400,000 news users is not enough to turn Hedera’s fortunes around.
