According to Protos, crypto-friendly bank Evolve Bank admitted that 33 TB of user data was stolen a month ago by a Russian ransomware gang Lockbit after an employee accidentally clicked a malicious link. The stolen data included personally identifiable information (PII), such as name, address, social security and tax ID number, date of birth, account balance, and email address. The data came from 155,586 accounts related to Bitfinex, Nomad, and Copper, among others.
